Najnowocześniejsze technologie i siła finansowa Toyoty pozwoliły na zbudowanie 4,5-metrowego coupe z 5-litrowym 10-cylindrowym silnikiem o mocy ponad 500 KM i układem napędowym transaxle z skrzynią biegów przy tylnej osi, który wybrano z powodu lepszego rozłożenia masy. Bezkompromisowy styl techno, który jest z zupełnie innego świata niż limuzyny marki Lexus, oraz wiele nowoczesnych rozwiązań technicznych podsyciło atmosferę, tak więc fani marki z niecierpliwością oczekują wersji seryjnej auta.
Na ortodoksyjnym coupe się jednak nie kończy – właśnie teraz rozpoczyna się kolejny rozdział. Pierwsze egzemplarze coupe Lexus LF-A miałyby się pojawić na rynku japońskim i amerykańskim pod koniec 2008 roku, na razie nie wiadomo, czy samochód trafi także do Europy.
